made strong progress in the identification, design and development
of novel insect ovicides and larvicides for a range of pests and applications

identified the key mechanisms involved in insect egg hatch

patented a new class of novel invertebrate pest control compounds with novel targets and mode of action

demonstrated strong proof of principle
in a range of important crop, horticultural, veterinary and industrial insect pests

ongoing discussions with and strong interest in its programmes from market leaders in various pest and parasite control sectors

successfully raised funds through two VC funding rounds

secured $2.85 million in Grants from the Australian Federal Government

completed pre-clinical safety testing of its lead human head lice control product, DeOvo

completed a Phase I clinical trial of its lead human head lice control product, demonstrating a high level of safety

through exploitation of knowledge regarding target and mode of action, expanded its activities outside insect eggs to include control of insect, mite and nematode eggs and larvae

Submitted and had accepted by the US FDA an IND filing for DeOvo development programme

safety study in human volunteers

"Hatchtech’s head louse control product has completed its first human trials finding no side effects or other adverse events associated with the product. 32 patients were treated at escalating dose levels and carefully monitored via observation, blood tests and electrocardiography.
